Russell Wilson’s former teammate, Trevone Boykin, has issued an apology to the New York Giants Quarterback following an onslaught of criticism he received.
A few weeks back, during an episode of Boykin’s House of Playmakers podcast, he recounted a 2016 story about visiting Wilson’s house on Thanksgiving. According to the former NFL player, it was very “weird” that Wilson’s family wasn’t there and that the dinner was catered instead of homemade.”I come from a traditional, Black, country a** family,” Boykin said. “If I got as much money as Russell Wilson, my whole family would talk about me so bad if I ain’t fly everybody out there for Thanksgiving.” He continued: “…It’s just weird to me, even if you don’t fool with your family…”
